Get a Customer NumberThis will be filed at The U.S.P.T.O. with your contact information on it, when you file something they always need your contact info, so if you have a customer number you use that. Fill out the Customer Number Request Form, Print it out and send it to the USPTO, the address is on the form. Always look at the top right hand side of any form you send to the USPTO to see the Approved for use through Date, MM/DD/YYYY.
